Changing of the
Guard
at Buckingham Palace & St. Paul's
Cathedral
TOUR 2. Adults £20.50, Children under
16 £18.50. Morning.
Visit St. Paul's Cathedral - Trafalgar
Square - See Changing of the Guard at Buckingham
Palace - Entrance Included.
St. Paul's Cathedral - Completed
in 1708 but still looks fresh and modern. Christopher
Wren designed it after the previous St. Paul's
was destroyed by fire. The Cathedral is 157 meters
long and 76 meters wide. The ball on the top of
the dome is big enough to hold 10 people. In the
Crypt there are the great tombs of two of Britain's
most famous military men - Nelson and Wellington.
(The Cathedral is closed on Sundays).
Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace
- Next we drive to Buckingham Palace
to witness the pomp and pageantry of the changing
of the guard. Thrill to the colour, the movement,
and music of Her Majesty's Royal Household Troops.
A photographer's paradise! When there is no Guard
Change we'll visit Horsegurds Parade.
This tour finishes about 12.00 noon.
